I found this information quite disturbing...
Brain Cells Fused with Computer ChipBy Ker Than LiveScience Staff Writer posted: 27 March 2006 11:36 am ET ![]() neuro-chip, researchers squeezed more than 16,000 electronic transistors and hundreds of capacitors onto a silicon chip just 1 millimeter square in size. They used special proteins found in the brain to glue brain cells, called neurons, onto the chip. However, the proteins acted as more than just a simple adhesive. "They also provided the link between ionic channels of the neurons and semiconductor material in a way that neural electrical signals could be passed to the silicon chip," said study team member Stefano Vassanelli from the University of Padua in Italy. The proteins allowed the neuro-chip's electronic components and its living cells to communicate with each other. Electrical signals from neurons were recorded using the chip's transistors, while the chip's capacitors were used to stimulate the neurons. It could still be decades before the technology is advanced enough to treat neurological disorders or create living computers, the researchers say, but in the nearer term, the chips could provide an advanced method of screening drugs for the pharmaceutical industry. "Pharmaceutical companies could use the chip to test the effect of drugs on neurons, to quickly discover promising avenues of research," Vassanelli said. The researchers are now working on ways to avoid damaging the neurons during stimulation. The team is also exploring the possibility of using a neuron's genetic instructions to control the neuro-chip. |

Hey folks,
Here is some interesting information I've noted over the past year... 1. The Federal government has spent of $100million in establishing the National ID Center in Washington DC. 2. Legislation keeps popping up to make a National ID Card with a smart chip inside it. I remember a government spokesperson saying you won't be able to get a job, have a bank account, receive social security, or receive government benefits of any sort (medicare, medicaid, welfare) without it. Hmmm...sounds like a predessessor to the Mark. 3. Advanced Digital (Nasdaq: ADSX) is spinning off its "VeriChip" division in an upcoming IPO. This implantable chip has received FDA approval and has a growing appeal in Latin America. Its used in the U.S. as a pet tracking device. 4. CNBC aired a show at 3am the other night talking about implantable chips..."would you get one?" 5. The Sherriff's Dept. goes around fingerprinting children voluntarily at malls and elsewhere using the scare tactic of "prevent kidnapping" to lure parents into this. All data is fed into a national computer. Big brother is coming! 6. Back in 1996 or so, my dad was having coffee one morning at a cafe when he said a policeman came in to get some coffee. He noticed a patch with the police ensign on it and stitched under the badge said, "Federally Incorporated". 7. Last year President Bush Jr. finished the "Marshall Law" plan initiated by Reagan in which all Presidents since have been working on. 8. Outspoken military officials have said many times that they were told to "stand down" their standard interception procedures when the airplanes for 911 had started going off course. The order came from VERY high up! 9. Fox News at Noon reported on September 10th of that year that bomb sniffing dogs were on top of the Twin Towers. 10. My wife's former co-worker's husband is in the Air Force. He said there were put on "high alert' 3 days before 911 happened. 11. Where is the "Dept. of Disinformation" hiding at? It was mentioned years ago when we invaded Iraq but has since gone underground. However, do you ever notice how one day our news reports this and the next day that? For example, one day they say the housing market is slowing down but the next day they say home sales are up; or one day the bird flu is no big deal but the next day it is a pandemic; or one day we're winning the war in Iraq and the next day its going bad. Be on guard my brothers & sisters...don't be fooled by what you see & hear. God is calling us to prepare to leave this land for "the times are near." Kosher |
