Request for Help

To the Members of our Brotherhood, who are of the body of the Church of Christ and to all of the elders of the Prestol and to the brothers & sisters in our Lord Jesus Christ.

[font=Times New Roman]Lord bless me as I write this letter to the brothers & sisters in Christ Jesus. This letter is a letter of beseechment & petition. We ask you dear brothers & sisters, if you would be able to assist in our urgent need and desire to assist someone else in their time of desperation & need.

[font=Times New Roman]You may or may not know of the Roshkov family – Nicolai Alexeyich & Nadya Nikolavna, from Erevan, Armenia. They have visited here (America) maybe 5 years ago & attended many churches. They are a good & very spiritual Christian Molokan family, that adhere to tenets of our faith. This is the same family that started a “Young Church” in Erevan & because of that, they have been “Otkazanee”. They have now for a long while, more than 3 years now, been trying to gain permission to leave Armenia & obtain residency in Australia. They tried America, but to no avail. Then they were told by the government that all means to leave the country & move to Australia have been exhausted - no use in continuing because there is no opportunity, doors closed. And they have had others in their behalf assisting them. This information brought much pain & grief to the family. This desire to leave, is not just for any personal gain. If Nicolai & Nadya did not have children in their teenage years, they would remain there & live their lives. But because they do[/i][/b] have children at the age where the government is now seeking for their young male children for Mandatory Armed Services their need is now urgent! The government is actively seeking to take the next in line, before Paska.

[font=Times New Roman]But… Dear Brothers & Sisters, because of the the great mercy of our Lord, God has blessed this family by his generous hand, has answered many prayers, theirs & of those within the community. Just last week, they had received word, not only that they have been given the ability to become official residents in Australia, but Armenia had granted them Visas! For the whole family, Parents and Children. This is such great & wonderful news. Glory and thanksgiving be given to our God.

[font=Times New Roman]So here is our petition to you Dear Brothers & Sisters, if you would pray about this matter & if Our Lord touch your heart to help, please provide monetary/financial assistance. Please help generously, to the strength of your ability. Any amount is considered a generous donation & will be accepted appreciatively, as a token of your love. We are desiring to purchase Airline travel, for their passage from Armenia to Australia within the month of April, probably after Paska Holy Days. The cost to purchase the Airline fares is going to be approximately $10,000 for the whole family. We Thank you in advance for your ability to provide such generous assistance. Together with your help, we can get this family safely moved from Erevan to Australia and their boys can avoid Service in the Armed Forces.
