The annual steak dinner fundraiser is tomorrow, Saturday, June 2.

This fundraiser is what raises the bulk of the UMCA budget for the year. The money raised is what "keeps the doors open" so to speak. The donations fund the budget that pays for repairs, maintenance, upkeep of the grounds and buildings, improvements to make it a better and safer place for our Molokan children to gather.

If you don't have the money to spend for the donation (like me) for the dinner, you are welcome & invited to come and help.

On Friday evening there will be people at the UMCA to prep food and set up tables (around 6 to 7 p.m.). And on Saturday we need help to gather from about noon. If you would like to help but can't come earlier, we also always need cleaning up and putting away the tables after the dinner is over (approximately 6 p.m.-ish)

If it's an incentive to you, all the help get a steak lunch at around 1 p.m.

We currently use the UMCA facilities for the following: Molokan Elementary School, Sunday School, Wednesday night church, Library, Bible classes, Sewing classes, Wedding showers, basketball, volleyball, Friday night burger nights (during b-ball & v-ball), Picnic (the annual picnic is not a fundraiser, it is a community event), as a "home base" for Summer camp, & as a place to have gatherings, "date nights" for young adults (like spaghetti dinner, etc.).

If some, any, or all of the above functions are important to you or your children, then please help support your Molokan community.
