How many of you have read the book "The Happiest People on Earth"? Have you read the book recently? What do you think?

If you have not read this book, please do so post haste. This is an important book for all Molokans to read, young adults to elders.

My deda gave me this book about 10 years back, and I decided to re-read this book this weekend, and I am half way through it. I would like to share some things (within the next few days ) that have struck me as profound.

Read it years ago. From what I remember I liked it.

A thorough knowledge of the Bible is the foundation of all clear views of religion. He that is well-grounded in it will not generally be found a waverer, and carried about by every wind of new doctrine. Any system of training which does not make a knowledge of Scripture the first thing is unsafe and unsound.

Is there an ISBN so I can purchase it?

Galatians 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

ISBN 0-912376-14-7 is the number in the copy I am reading.

I think you may be able to get it at the UMCA library

Looks like there are a handful of copies for sale on ebay - you can also get a copy at amazon.

Isn't that written by Demos Shakarian? As I understand, Demos was one of the last Armenian Molokans in America.

I loved reading that book. Very inspirational. Loved the part of seeing the girl and his family member going and working out the details.

Lk - tell me what you liked about the book?
