RE: Weekend Wisdom
Revelation 11
[9] For three days and a half men from the peoples and tribes and tongues and nations gaze at their dead bodies and refuse to let them be placed in a tomb, [10] and those who dwell on the earth will rejoice over them and make merry and exchange presents, because these two prophets had been a torment to those who dwell on the earth. When faith is chained to doctrine, truth becomes heresy and God is forgotten. |

Job 15
[34] For the company of the godless is barren, and fire consumes the tents of bribery. [35] They conceive mischief and bring forth evil and their heart prepares deceit." When faith is chained to doctrine, truth becomes heresy and God is forgotten. |

MGR 3:5:4. Jesus Himself told the people, "Believe in God and believe in Me, that He has sent Me."

1 John
[20] If any one says, "I love God," and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, cannot love God whom he has not seen. When faith is chained to doctrine, truth becomes heresy and God is forgotten. |

RE: Weekend Wisdom
1 Corinthians 14
[22] Thus, tongues are a sign not for believers but for unbelievers, while prophecy is not for unbelievers but for believers. [23] If, therefore, the whole church assembles and all speak in tongues, and outsiders or unbelievers enter, will they not say that you are mad? [24] But if all prophesy, and an unbeliever or outsider enters, he is convicted by all, he is called to account by all, [25] the secrets of his heart are disclosed; and so, falling on his face, he will worship God and declare that God is really among you. When faith is chained to doctrine, truth becomes heresy and God is forgotten. |

Mark 3
[28] "Truly, I say to you, all sins will be forgiven the sons of men, and whatever blasphemies they utter; [29] but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is guilty of an eternal sin" -- [30] for they had said, "He has an unclean spirit." RE: Weekend Wisdom
1 Peter 3
[8] Finally, all of you, have unity of spirit, sympathy, love of the brethren, a tender heart and a humble mind. [9] Do not return evil for evil or reviling for reviling; but on the contrary bless, for to this you have been called, that you may obtain a blessing. When faith is chained to doctrine, truth becomes heresy and God is forgotten. |

RE: Weekend Wisdom
Romans 5
[1] Therefore, since we are justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. [2] Through him we have obtained access to this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in our hope of sharing the glory of God. [3] More than that, we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, [4] and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, [5] and hope does not disappoint us, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit which has been given to us. When faith is chained to doctrine, truth becomes heresy and God is forgotten. |
