Limited handicapped parking on the southeast corner of Baldwin and Montecito. Baldwin Ave. north will be closed at Sierra Madre Blvd., so make a right, go to the first stop at Mountain Trail, go north (left) to Montecito, go left to Baldwin.

Description:

Tour the world's largest blooming plant, the famed Sierra Madre Wisteria Vine. Visitors are invited to stroll on private property beneath the branches of the 113-year-old vine, estimated to weight at least 250 tons and displaying more than a million delicately-scented lavendar blossoms on an arbor over a private residence.

Please note that many of the Wisteria Vine gardens are sloping and reached by stairs without railings. Access to the garden is incompatible for persons with limited mobility. No wheelchairs, walkers or strollers will be allowed on the tour grounds.

Because parking is limited, visitors will be required to park indesignated off-site parking areas and take a shuttle bus to the festival grounds.

Space is limited; reservations are required.

The same day will also see downtown Sierra Madre turned into an Art and Garden Faire, with more than175 artisans displaying original works, including clothing, jewelry, paintings, wood objects, fiber arts, garden art and other gift items.

In addition, there will be attractions for kids, street musicians, a student art sale and special food items.
