YES I WILL!! The first version is my favorite movie of all time, and I've read the book many times. I just want to see the differences between the first movie, the book, and this movie, and if Johnny Depp can really play a good Willy Wonka. I don't know if he can surpass Gene Wilder though.
Please do not ask me to repeat all of the lines of the orginal movie, because I can...maybe that's my only talent! hehe ciao!

After I watched the trailer yesterday, I got that dumb song stuck in my head *wall*
When they said Tim Burton was the director the first thing that went throught my mind were evil looking "oompa loopa's". From the trailer, it doesn't look like a dark Burton movie. As for Johnny Depp, well I agree, no one can replace Gene Wilder for that roll. But I'll be optomistic, he's been rather good in a lot of movies. When faith is chained to doctrine, truth becomes heresy and God is forgotten. |

I am looking forward to the new version, but I don't expect it to replace the old one. It's too much of a classic.
Johnny Depp is a great actor. He hasn't always been on my top list of favorite actors, but he's certainly making a comfortable spot there lately. . |

This movie was really good. I even saw H20krazy and her fiance coming out while I was going in to see it at the Norwalk AMC. It's a small world that's for sure.
The movie is great and it's almost the same from the first one butvery different as well; both movies has there own special thing about it. I would say that both movies are great. I now have that new song from the "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" stuck in my head. |
