One More:

This one too is on the theme of Cassie Bernall.

Michael W. Smith wrote this song in honor of the belief and true sincere stance she had for Jesus Christ.

He then provided the song & presented it to her parents in memoriam to her.

Lyrics:

It was a test we could all hope to pass
But none of us would want to take.
Faced with the choice to deny God to live,
For her, there was one choice to make.

This was her time. this was her dance.
She lived every moment; left nothing to chance.
She swam in the sea; drank of the deep;
Embraced the mystery of all she could be.

This was her time...

Though you are mourning and grieving with us,
Death died a long time ago;
Swallowed in life so that life carries on.
Still its so hard to let go.

This was her time. this was her dance.
She lived every moment; left nothing to chance.
She swam in the sea; drank of the deep;
Embraced the mystery of all she could be.

What if tomorrow, and what if today,
Faced with the question,
Oh what would you say?

This is your time. this is your dance.
Live every moment. leave nothing to chance.
Swim in the sea. drink of the deep.
Follow the mercy and hear yourself praying.

Wont you save me?
Wont you save me?

This is your time. this is your dance.
Live every moment. leave nothing to chance.
Swim in the sea. drink of the deep.
Embrace the mystery of all you can be.

This is your time. this is your dance.
Live every moment. leave nothing to chance.
Swim in the sea. drink of the deep.
Embrace the mystery of all you can be.

This is your time...
(wont you save me? )
(this is your time)
(wont you save me? )

I thought the first one sounded familiar. I love how his voice uplifts when he sings:

"Then bursting forth in glorious day,
Up from the grave He rose again!"

Worth posting again.

The chorus on the second one gives me chills. What a beautiful song. And like you said a powerful message, good find.

A thorough knowledge of the Bible is the foundation of all clear views of religion. He that is well-grounded in it will not generally be found a waverer, and carried about by every wind of new doctrine. Any system of training which does not make a knowledge of Scripture the first thing is unsafe and unsound.

This was posted on the Christian band section, it really is an awesome song.

Romans 10:9-13

9That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. 11As the Scripture says, "Anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame."[a] 12For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile—the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, 13for, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."[b]

Zephaniah 3:17

17 The LORD your God is with you,
he is mighty to save.
He will take great delight in you,
he will quiet you with his love,
he will rejoice over you with singing."

Here is a video with some people singing the song При скорбях мы Господа всегда вспоминаем.

Also in the Инославных part of our песеник we sing song 605 Раскажу я всем живущим. It might have been taken from the Doukhobors...the tune is different though.

Such a simple yet very powerful song, and I think Third Day'shead singersvoice is perfect for it. I love it when they sing 'Holy, Holy' and kick it up a knotch:

Somebody shared this song with me this past week & it was an awesome and emotional moment, for me anyway.

I've never heard the song and have heard of the artist, but never really listened to them. I've heard that they were pretty much a Christian Rock Band, which really is not my choice of music styles.

But this one really touched me, it isn't really full of "Wow" lyrics, but powerful nonetheless.

I looked and found a video for it.

See what ya think;
