Ok...the other day we had some people over on the roof fixing our Dish Satellite...my pop was outside...and he called me outside because some old fart was coming down our driveway on we motor wheelchair. My pop thought he was crazy...and didnt want to deal with him...and since I worked in hospitals and im use to dealing with old people he wanted me to talk to him. So I went down the stairs and met up with him...and heres what he told me..........
"Did you hear about the5 year oldboy that asked his grandfather if he could croak like a frog?" I of course smiled and said "No...I didnt hear." He went on and said "Well, the boy came up to his grandfather and asked him 'grandpa...can you croak like a frog?' The grandfather replied, 'why no I cant croak like a frog' the boy 'are you sure you cant? cause i heard that you can!' 'Why boy, no I cannot croak like a frog, why do you ask!?' The boy simply replied, 'well I heard Mom talking to Aunty and she said that once Grandfather croaked..then we are all going to Disneyland!!'.The old man just smiled and told me well...i guess that boy aint going to Disneyland for awhile...cause im still here!! Hehe...I thought it was kinda funny....what a way to meet a neighbor huh?? Oregon people....their sense of humor!! Sarah |

What a great way to break the ice with new neighbors, wish I had a few like that, mine usually run from the door to the car, or car to the door, before I can even say good morning. The one neighbor that will sit and talk with me has to be in the right mood*Drink*, then its real fun to hear him ramble on.
wall A thorough knowledge of the Bible is the foundation of all clear views of religion. He that is well-grounded in it will not generally be found a waverer, and carried about by every wind of new doctrine. Any system of training which does not make a knowledge of Scripture the first thing is unsafe and unsound. -J. C. Ryle |

woohoo! A mana! ha..thanks!
Some of the neighbors are pretty friendly...and some just dont enjoy quadriding like 50 mph down the street. The one in the electric wheel chair was pretty friendly...i think next time I see him cruising...ill ask if i can race his wheelchair around! Ha... Sarah |
