America's Army; Stay Clear of this game

In the recruiting game, that's a pretty good rate of return. At a recent series of three tournaments in New York City, recruiters generated 320 new leads but only two enlistments. Each new soldier counts. Together, Martin and his recruiting partner in Woodinville, Sgt. 1st Class Harold Hunt, have a 46-enlistee annual quota.

A survey by the Army this year showed that 29 percent of all young American adults ages 16 to 24 had had some contact with the game in the previous six months.

meh....sounds like a crappy FPS anyway....I'm sure there are serious balance issues. And who wants to go through a virtual boot camp? I'd want to log in, grab my weapon of choice and go at it. Sounds like cheap immitation of Counter Strike. It didn't say if it was a MMO...how realistic can it be if its squad based battles? Nor did they mention any choice of vehicles...so I'm guessing there aren't any....boring! And M16 is the only weapon at your arsenal...c'mon...where's the imagination? What are the grapics like? When a game doesnt' give much info about graphics...its a warning sign. If I'm going to go back to FPS, I'll go back to Planetside...or wait for the next game that SOE announced for 2006...I don't trust the government in thier skills to put out a quality product....

Eh..that game sucks...already tried signing up for it...and it wont let me play...I think I have to download something else...and I do not feel like doing it...that game just lost one person! I know....I know...you saidDO NOT GO THERE...but what is someone's first reaction to when someone say's the word "DONT"....you do it anyhow!
