OK. So I know it’s still pretty hot outside and the last thing on your mind right now is a warm outer layer, but if you’re planning for the winter or gearing up for some future snowshoe expeditions, my two favorite cheap-gear retailers are running sales on everything long-sleeved right now.
The Clymb has several Merrell winter jackets and light raincoats at half-off right now, although most of the ladies’ gear seems to have been snagged pretty quickly. Meanwhile, the team at LeftLane Sports is featuring a bunch of warm-weather tops from Sierra Designs, and seems to still have most of their selection available.
If you do pick up any of these items, just make sure you wait a bit longer to actually model them around your apartments. I don’t want to be responsible for any cases of indoor heat stroke, ok?
