A Couple of hours before my father died, he sang this song to my mom. It's Pg. 643 in the Spirit and Life. Article 10 Song of the Reward

Arise and let us go unto the Lord God of Isreal. he will give us strength and enternal dominion. We shall be gland and rejoice, for our Lord God is our assistance. Awaken people, Christ now loves us, and has given us the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit arouses us, implants holy love within us and enthrones us with Christ.

He places crowns of gold and precious jewels upon our head. He takes each member unto Himself, and appoints to each his place. He commands us to sing holy songs. He commands tsars, kings and prices to sing, the hearts of the saints wil rejoice. The holy people will be filled with blessng and appointed unto their Creator.

My merciful creator will not abandon His people. Amen

Hello all, In regards to Song 680...

I was thinking of this song as it is one of my favorites - Sunshine. I just have a glorious feeling when we get to the words:
И возрадовалос сердце мое во мне
А мой язык будет славословить правду Твою

Woody, you are correct in stating that Song 680 is Psalm 15 (Psalm 16 in english), but that is only true if sung verbatim out of the Psalms. To my knowledge, only Freeway Church does this?

Throughout the rest of the churches they sing the song as it is written in the Pesinik, and it is not the same as the Psalm, well, the last half anyway.

12 stanzas in the pesinik, 11 verses in the Psalms. I will attempt to answer Sunshines request for a translation

1st stanza is verse one of Psalm 15 (well sorta): "Authors Poetic License - Старец - Дяд Гаврил Неверов"

Keep me safe, My Lord God
for in you I take refuge (place my trust)
I said to the Lord, You are my Lord
Your Goodness, means salvation for me
To the saints who are in the land, I strive for
towards your glorious salvation, which is my whole desire
Let the sorrows multiply of only those
who stray towards foreign/strange gods
I will not pour out their drink offerings of blood (partake in them?)
and my lips will not even mention/speak their names
I said unto the Lord, You are my Lord
My cup runneth over with your salvation
I will bless the Lord who gives me understanding
even at night, does my insides/inner most being (heart or conscience?) instruct me
All of those who walk before thee
You, guard - they will not ever be confused/troubled
And my heart was overjoyed within me
And my tongue will verbally glorify Your Truth
Decree unto me O Lord, the steps my feet should walk
And unto me, my boundaries are among/will pass thru the most beautiful places
Glory to You, Lord! Glory!
Glory to You, My God!
To the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, for ever.
Amen.

Please, if any corrections or comments - please pass them along. I accept this whole heartedly.
