Which recognized Molokan Church are you part of?

We are not sanctioned, sponsored or have any official recognition from any Molokan Church, Organization either recognized or not recognized.

What is the fee?

There is absolutely no charge, nor will there ever be…we hope

What is this site all about?

Simply put, this is the only site that caters to Molokans who accept the Spirit and Life Book.  It’s the only place you can converse about it normally without your thread (discussion) being hijacked, insulted, condemned, etc. as is seen in the other Molokan sites.  However, we do have a General Area where topics outside of the subject of Faith and Religion can be discussed.

Is the Spirit and Life Book the only thing you talk about?

No.  In all actuality, discussions on the Spirit and Life Book are in the minority.  It’s predominately discussions from the Bible and other topics.

Why do require my name, church and phone number to join the reserved Molokan Underground Forums?

To verify your identity.  Its been proven in the past that some individuals will stop at nothing to disrupt us.  They don’t want to leave us in peace for some reason.  Everything from attempted hacking, fake identities, virus’s etc. has been directed at us.  Most with unbecoming behavior don’t want to reveal themselves and this has proven to be an effective tool for screening.

Do I have to give my name to Register?

No.  Registering will only give you a partial membership.  Currently you can only see a few of the forums.  Registering will allow you to see the rest of the social areas.  You will not be able to view or even see the Faith and Category section, its only viewable to full members who are accepted and complied with the rules to gain access.  In the passed we did not have this ability and required it.

Well, what if I insist on posting on matters of Faith and Religion?

Say hello to Mr. BANNED.  Your posts will quickly and easily be deleted.  Furthermore, we will BAN your IP Address.  You will have to go through a nice painstaking process to get your IP Address changed and attempt to try it again.  All we have to do click a few buttons.

Can I remain anonymous in the reserved forums?

You can remain anonymous as you wish to the other members.  However, the Managers will know your identity and will keep it confidential.  Also, when you post, your character traits do become apparent, people have “figured out” identities before.

I don’t accept the Spirit and Life book; can I still get in to the reserved section?

No.  As it was stated, this is the only site that caters to those who accept the Spirit and Life Book.  We’re not going to jeopardize that environment for our full members.

I believe in the Trinity Doctrine; will I still be able to join?

No, this is not a traditional Molokan held belief by either the Priguni or Postyanni Molokans despite what you may have heard from some individuals.  The Catholic/Orthodox/Protestant churches traditionally uphold that belief.

Will I see a lot of the same petty bickering as I see on the other sites?

No, the discussions are civil and moderated pro-actively from getting too heated up.  However, you will read posts that may offend you from time to time.  But you are encouraged to discuss your differences in the hopes learning more and recognizing when you’re just going have to agree to disagree.

I don’t like the name Molokan “Underground”; will you change it?

Well, too bad, it’s staying.  The name is appropriate, as we had to go “underground” or in “refuge” to discuss our beliefs, as did many of our Molokan ancestors did and the early Apostolic Church.  If it represents something bad to you, thats not our problem.

Your site should be open to all!  You should not profess yourself as a site for community and be so exclusive.

First of all, we have never proclaimed to be a public site, quite the opposite.  This is a private site managed and owned by the founders and its members to a limited degree.  Finally, we don’t have to be open.  It’s our and our choice alone, not yours.  If you want a complete public site, then go to the many others that already are in existence or form your own.
