This is the humor section, so I will humor you. Having spent time working with "unfortunate" people, as you put it, I can understand how retardation, physical, mental, or both, is a touchy subject for some people. Everyone has their own "Off Limits" subjects, whether it is midgets, fat people, religion, Michael Jackson, or whatever. Since this is thought to be a Christian forum, and you asked nicely... *poof*
